Synopsis

Life in the old west was tough for a bounty hunter like yourself.

Still, you need the money, and when you arrive in Argusville your first thought is to find out if there's anyone in town with a price on their head.

"Sure is son" said an old timer.

"The Paper Bag Kid's in town!"

"Say old timer, how do I recognise this Paper Bag Kid?"

"Well son, he wears brown paper trousers, a brown paper shirt, and a brown paper ten gallon hat."

"What's he wanted for hereabouts?"

"Rustlin'!"

Your task is to track down the Paper Bag Kid and bring him to justice. Good luck!

Notes

From the first issue of 64 Tape Computing.

Also available in Dutch and Spanish.

Although the author was uncredited when the game made its appearance on 64 Tape Computing, it was later included The Commodore 64/128 Adventure Pack by Peter Gerrard, published by Duckworth Home Computing. Peter was the editor of 64 Tape Computing and the game is in the style he borrowed from Steven C. Darnold. The compilation was also published for C16/Plus 4.
