John Whembly was a knight, pirate, and RICH! He owned a large castle located on an island in a small lake somewhere in jolly old England. Before he died, he hid somewhere a chest of gold coins (or so it is claimed). Many people have tried to find it but none have succeeded. Maybe you will have better luck!
Originally written for the North Star Horizon, a Z80-based computer from 1977. That version of the game is listed in various Dynacomp catalogues.
R.R. Bowker's Software Encyclopaedia 1992 also lists Dynacomp selling versions for the Apple II and IBM PC clones.
Jason Dyer has covered the game as part of his All the Adventures project.

Sorry to point it out but Wembley Castle was never released by Dynacomp. It was a North Star release.
Whembly even.
This thing is enormous. I have currently mapped 319 rooms and I am still going. I think the mazes herein may be a larger ratio of the game than even Acheton.
