(Start in the village square outside the general store), ENTER STORE (storekeeper offers you an
adventure kit and a free sword if you take up a quest for him), YES (he is really the Doctor looking
for a part for his time machine), INVENTORY (now carrying matches, box of plasters, bandages, tube
of glue, Slice your trusty sword and some food), LEAVE STORE, N, N (edge of cliff where a telephone
is ringing), ANSWER TELEPHONE (asked if it is Dave), NO (asked to shout for him), SHOUT DAVE (Dave
asks if you would like a lift to the lighthouse), YES (he says to follow him), FOLLOW DAVE (into
beautiful cave), D (beach where Dave is waiting in his boat), ENTER BOAT (Dave guides the boat to
the lighthouse).
ENTER LIGHTHOUSE (meet Bulbo, the Enlightened One), GET ROPE (as you reach for it Bulbo says you can
have it if you do him a favour), YES (wants you to bring him the golden fleece... he gives you the
rope), LEAVE LIGHTHOUSE, CLIMB BOAT (enter doesn't work this time! - back to beach), U (cave
where the golden fleece is), GET FLEECE (too high), THROW ROPE, CLIMB ROPE, GET FLEECE, DOWN ROPE, D
(beach), GET GOLD (coins), U, GET ROPE, W, S, S, S (forest), E, S, S (bank of lake), SE, S, W (bog
in Barrow Downs), GET FROG, KISS FROG (frog turns into a beautiful princess and you are changed into
a frog - leave crown and dress for now), E, N, NE, N, N, NE (outside hut), E (into hut), GET GROG,
DRINK GROG (changed back into a man, but you still have the warts), GET WART (remover - note
don't use it or the game ends).
W, SW, S, S, SW, S, W (back to bog on Barrow Downs), GET CROWN, GET DRESS, W, GET WHEELBARROW, N
(Bog Inn), TALK (says he will give you the valuable crystal goblet if you go on a quest for him),
YES (wants the suit of armour from Sir Lancelot... he gives you the goblet), NE, SE, ENTER RING
(Fairy's), EXAMINE GOBLET (writing underneath reads "The Holy Grail"... you drop it
and it smashes), USE GLUE (now have a white crystal elephant), LEAVE RING, NE, N, W (green barge),
EMBARK (suddenly you are attacked by an owl and a cat who say they will let you go if you fulfil a
quest for them), YES (they want the magic ring from the pig... you land on the island), E
(monumental ruin where you meet Sir Lancelot who is looking for the Holy Grail and asks for your
help), YES (he gives you the suit of armour), GET KEY, W, DROP ARMOUR.
W (meet fat pig with a ring in the end of it's nose), GIVE FOOD (pig eats it and gives you the
magic ring), E (cat snatches the ring from you and sets sail in the barge, but is attacked by a
monster), SWIM (bottom of lake), SWIM UP (meet the monster), KILL MONSTER (using sword, but it bites
your arm off and you are bleeding to death), USE BANDAGE, EXAMINE MONSTER (you're in it's
lair), GET RING, SWIM (bank of lake), SE, ENTER RING (fairy's), WEAR RING (the scene changes
and you find yourself in a mossy passage), S, S (in river... current takes you under the mountain
and you climb out onto the river bank), GET HERRING (red), N, N, W, W, W, N (village square), W.
W (it's dark), GET MATCH (from matchbox), LIGHT MATCH (in a secret cavern), S, S (meet vulture
who is the guardian of Mt. Dumanglume who wants certain objects before you can pass), GIVE WART
(remover), GIVE DRESS, GIVE ROPE, GIVE RING (you enter the catacombs), E, N (cave), UNLOCK DOOR, GET
KEY, OPEN DOOR (to another tunnel), N (another door), UNLOCK DOOR, OPEN DOOR (enter a small room
where you meet Gudlor), HELLO (he tells you that you will find the dragon's lair deep in the
mountain), GIVE CROWN (you enter the palace), GET TREASURE, N (outside palace), E S, S (village
square), W, W (dark), GET MATCH, LIGHT MATCH, S, S (catacombs), E, S, W (crossroads), S, S, W, W, S,
S (hear growling), E, N, E, S, S, E, S (cave entrance where you meet a griffin who wants payment to
let you pass), GIVE GOLD (he allows you to enter the dragon's cave), GIVE TREASURE.
