Some optional (but significant) commands are shown in parentheses. These can be omitted once you
know what to do.
(X FENCE) (there's a gate for an entrance)
(X GATE) (it's keeping you out, only residents get a key)
(OPEN IT) (it's locked, you don't have a key)

(TALK TO PERSON) (try asking him about something)
ASK PERSON ABOUT KEY (he's got one, you can borrow it, it's in the flower pot)
(L) (there's now a flower pot on a windowsill)
SEARCH POT (you find and acquire a key)
E
UNLOCK GATE WITH KEY
OPEN IT
